Hope & Helping Hand for Human (H4NGO) is a grassroots non-governmental organization working since 2016 with a commitment to create meaningful and sustainable social change.
Our work is built around a simple belief: every person deserves dignity, opportunity, knowledge and the ability to build a better future.
We work with people, families and communities from diverse backgrounds, particularly those who face barriers to education, health, skills, livelihood opportunities and social development. Our approach is inclusive and need-based, with the objective of reaching people who need support and creating opportunities that enable them to move towards greater confidence, self-reliance and sustainable development.
Our key areas of work include Education & Child Development, Skill Development, Health & Hygiene, Women Empowerment, Community Development, Water & Sanitation Awareness, Social Awareness, Emergency Response and Humanitarian Support.
OUR BELIEF
Education is the Foundation. Empowerment is the Path. Community is the Strength.
We believe that sustainable social development cannot be achieved through short-term assistance alone.
Education creates opportunity.
Health creates wellbeing.
Skills create independence.
Empowerment creates confidence.
Community participation creates sustainable change.
These areas are deeply interconnected. A person may need immediate support today, but long-term progress comes from creating access to education, skills, awareness, opportunity and participation.
Therefore, H4NGO works towards a holistic approach where immediate humanitarian support and long-term empowerment go hand in hand.
OUR APPROACH
From Support to Empowerment
Our objective is not simply to provide charity. We believe in creating opportunities that help people improve their own lives.
At the grassroots level, we listen to people, understand local challenges and work with communities to identify practical solutions.
Our programmes bring together volunteers, students, professionals, community members, institutions, organizations and partners, creating a collective platform for social action.
Whether it is helping a child continue learning, supporting someone with essential supplies, creating awareness about health and hygiene, developing skills for livelihood, empowering women, or responding during an emergency—our focus remains on human dignity and meaningful impact.
OUR JOURNEY
2016 – The Beginning
H4NGO was established in 2016 with a vision to work at the grassroots level and respond to the social and developmental challenges faced by people living with limited access to essential opportunities and services.
The founding team—Mr. Sujeet Kannaujia, Mr. Manish Kr. Shukla and Mr. Sundram Shrivastava—came together with a shared commitment towards education, health, empowerment and community development.
Their experience and understanding of social challenges highlighted the need for an organization that could work directly with people and communities and help bridge gaps in education, health, awareness, skills and basic support.
2017 – HEALTH, HYGIENE & COMMUNITY AWARENESS
H4NGO expanded its grassroots initiatives with a focus on Health & Hygiene Awareness, recognizing the close relationship between health, education and community wellbeing.
Community-based awareness activities encouraged people to understand the importance of hygiene, preventive healthcare, sanitation and healthy living practices.
During this period, our work also strengthened our understanding that education and health must progress together to create lasting social development.
UMMIDO KI PATHSHALA
#SikshaNaRuke – Education Should Never Stop
One of the important initiatives emerging from our journey is Ummido Ki Pathshala.
The initiative was created with the belief that circumstances such as poverty, migration or lack of resources should not permanently prevent a child from learning.
Through community-based educational activities, learning support and awareness initiatives, H4NGO works to create opportunities for children to learn, develop confidence and remain connected with education.
For us, Ummido Ki Pathshala represents more than a place of learning.
It represents hope.
A belief that every child deserves an opportunity to learn, dream and build a better future.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT & LIVELIHOOD
As our grassroots experience grew, we recognized that education is only one part of the journey towards sustainable development.
Young people and adults also need practical skills, knowledge and opportunities that can help them improve their livelihood prospects.
H4NGO therefore expanded its focus towards vocational and skill development, including areas such as computer-related skills, English proficiency, vocational learning and other practical capabilities according to community needs.
Our objective is to help people develop capabilities that can contribute to employment, entrepreneurship, financial independence and a more secure future.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Women play an important role in the development of families and communities.
H4NGO works to promote education, skills, health awareness, participation, confidence and opportunities for women and girls.
